Beardies can be found in Australia, but they are popular pets. Bailey loves to eat crickets, kale, mustard greens, dandelions, strawberries, apple, and squash, but his favorite snack would have to be hornworms!<\/mark><\/strong>
Bailey spends most of his time hanging out under his heat lamp, but he is always paying attention and judging us with his little old man looks.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Gus is a blue-tongued skink. This species of skink can be found in Australia. We affectionately call him our little meatloaf. He loves to hide under the dirt and spend time in his water bowl before drying off under the sun\/heat lamp.\u00a0 His loves to eat berries of all kinds, crickets, superworms, and squash, but his favorite snack is hard boiled eggs.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Cherry Pie is our Hypo Brooks Kingsnake which is a species of kingsnake found in southern Florida.\u00a0 She is a wild one, always hungry and never slowing down. She loves to eat mice and rats and can be found soaking in her water bowl or exploring all day long! Of ALL the snakes I\u2019ve handled she is the only one who has bitten me, twice, but not because she\u2019s mean\u2026..just because she is so curious and always looking for a snack!<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lucille Ball Python was our first ball python. These pythons come from Africa. She loves to eat rats. Ball pythons sleep during the day and are awake more at night so you can find her in her hide resting most of the sunlight hours and exploring her enclosure at night. She is our smallest ball python and is a very sweet girl.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Molly is also a Ball Python.  She is a beautiful girl who LOVES to be out exploring the world.  Her favorite food are rats. She loves to rest during the day, but if you were to go in the reptile room she would certainly wake up to see if you would get her out to play.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mini is our biggest tortoise and an African species called an African Spurred or Sulcata tortoise. He will eventually get to be over 2 feet and weight 150 pounds! He is quite a celebrity with all his videos on our YouTube channel because he is always getting into a little trouble. He will eat pretty much anything from kale and collards to squash and flowers and the occasional apple or strawberry treat.<\/mark><\/strong><\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lovey and Leo are leopard tortoises.\u00a0Another African species, leopard tortoises are known for their cool shell patterns and they definitely don\u2019t disappoint. They can usually be found exploring every inch of any space you give them.\u00a0They are smart and inquisitive.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dante is one of our Russian tortoises.  He LOVES to climb and is often found where he isn\u2019t supposed to be – up in the flower beds eating all the greens or bugging a couple of the other tortoises, Dmitri or Percy, in their pens. He is a character with tons of personality.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We still don\u2019t have names for these two sweeties yet.  We were give two Russian tortoises, Rocco and Reese, and about a month later found two babies in their enclosure!  It was very exciting because, as a rescue, we don\u2019t breed and never have babies.  They are doing well and loving exploring all they can. These two were born in August of 2025.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

These girls are our red footed tortoises and the most social tortoises we have! They hail from the rainforests in South America. They LOVE to follow me around and get lots of scratches and sprays with the hose.  They love water and are the FIRST to dirty their waters by walking through or soaking in them as soon as I clean it. Being a South American species, they love to eat greens but also fruits like kiwi as well as bugs!<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

These two water turtles are a riot.  One is a Peninsula Cooter which mainly can be found in Florida.  The other is a Northern Painted Turtle, which are commonly found in the Pacific Northwest and mountain west areas of the United States.  Don\u2019t tell them they weren\u2019t meant to be friends though, because they are the BEST of friends. No matter which of the 6 pounds out back one of them is in you can certainly find the other.  They are never far apart, and we think their friendship is very special.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
